Now that the dust has settled after the October 1, 2013 – March 31, 2013 open enrollment period for individual health insurance, people who missed the window are now wondering if they can get a individual health plan, Unfortunately the answer for most people is not until November 15, 2014 (with an effective date of January 1, 2015). However, in Minnesota, there are some Qualifying Life Events that will trigger a Special Open Enrollment for an individual, which generally last 60 days.
